G-Suite allows you establish up to 30 aliases per user account. What's an alias? It's pretty straight forward. Aliases allow you to assign an additional "name" to an account. Think [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] etc. Each essentially redirect to a nominated user account.

Aliases can broaden the functionality of your G-Suite setup and provide an additional layer of professionalism to your business. Rules within the account associated with an alias can assist in triaging the communication from alias addresses and simplify your email management. You can also send from an alias address.

Alias are not a replacement for a user account and should be considered a secondary layer of email communication for "non-personal" communication. But given they don't come with a licence cost, it is worth considering an alias when you are looking to streamline your email communications.
